The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. H. Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that A.S. Grant, rider of Fiery Anne, presented to weigh out at 3lbs overweight,without any overweight being declared. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who explained the circumstances surrounding the overweight and apologised. Mr. J. Kidd, Authorised Represenative for Mr. John C. McConnell confirmed that the trainer and the owner were keen for A.S. Grant to retain the ride. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed A.S. Grant to retain the ride under the provisions of Rule 198(vii)(b). They were, however, satisfied that A.S. Grant was in breach of both Rule 198(vii)(a),and Rule 195(i)(b), and in considering his clean record in this regard they fined him €150 on this occasion. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards advised A.S Grant to liaise with the IHRB Senior Medical Officer, Dr. J. Pugh, regarding his minimum riding weight.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, L.F. Roche, rider of Two Brigade, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident where it appeared J.A. Powell, rider of Oh Cecelia had to sit for a few strides approaching the final furlong. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Staysound Susie, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Josh's Joy, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room at halfway.The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Tai Tam Bay, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mistress Of Tyrone, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Totally Puzzled, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race where it appeared that Moments Of Joy jumped forward forcing her stall to open fractionally faster than the other stalls. The Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no material advantage was gained and no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Faiyum (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined She's A Nation, trained by Rory Anthony Devine, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Rory Anthony Devine, trainer of She's A Nation, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was showing signs of being in season post race.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from W. Harvey, trainer of Blues Emperor for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule.90(i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eastwatch, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Glen To Glen, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly interfered with after a furlong. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Avoca Woods (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, and Glyfada, ridden by C.D. Hayes. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.T. McAteer stated that he received some contact from his inside. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount switched leads on the point of the bend and shifted left causing him to make contact with the horse on his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C.D. Hayes was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Avoca Woods (GB), trained by Jack Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home turn involving Falcon Eight, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Layfayette, ridden by C.T. Keane. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount rolled in as the horses were passing him . C.T. Keane stated that his mount seemed to roll out as they turned into the home straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that there was no riding offence and took no further action.
